How do you hope to Advance the World of Veterinary Medicine? Providing a high-quality, affordable, and consistent supply of products is one key way in which we can support veterinarians who provide invaluable care for our furry family members. How we can optimise this and finetune other services to make the lives of veterinarians easier, simpler, and more efficient is pivotal to me.
Tell us about your role, Mariah: I manage the New Business Development Category from the marketing side, helping to support our sales team and identify opportunities for growth as a business.
Desert Island Discs: Everything Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves have written. Probably a 90’s throwback mix as well and some Rod Stewart.
Can’t live without? Family and friends. Or, cheese and makeup!
What are your credentials/past experience: I worked for four years in Charlotte, North Carolina in Brand Management and New Product Development in the Commercial Goods Industry (B2B). I have a dual Bachelors degree in Operations Management and Marketing and am working towards my Masters of Business Administration.
How would your colleagues and friends describe you? Energetic, passionate, bubbly, and probably a bit odd!
What do you like about working at Covetrus? From colleagues to customers, the people here are fantastic. Every day is different and you never stop learning and growing. Career development is definitely a priority here.
Do you have pets? No, but as soon as I’m able I’m getting at least two dogs and naming them Toast and Noodle!
What are the values that drive you? Caring for each other; making the most of every day; remembering what truly matters, and doing your best!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? Cooking, baking, crocheting, anything crafty! And lots of time outside, rain or shine.
